Total IT Management is an optional service with Care10 & Care100 IT support packages. Simply, it enables us to become your IT partner by liasing with your periphery IT suppliers directly. Suppliers such as ISP's, vendors like HP & Dell who you may have existing hardware maintenance contracts in-place with, and any other IT supplier you'd like us to manage on your behalf.
By their very nature, IT issues can be caused by a number of different services. Resolving problems quickly means that you need to talk to one set of experts who can diagnose the problem, and implement the resolution. If you have experience of calling BT, you'll know what it's like to be passed around many departments before you speak to the person you need to, who then actually fixes your issue. Total IT Management removes all of this. You contact us, we speak to whoever we need to on your behalf to get you a resolution, and get it fast.
Asset Management is an optional service with Care10 & Care100 IT support packages. Every year we will visit your premises and perform a full audit of all of the hardware that you'd like to form part of our report. This typically includes PC's, servers, laptops, printers and importantly software licences.
It's good practice to keep an up-to-date inventory of your IT equipment, if only from an accounting point of view. However, when it comes to software licensing, it's now more important than ever to ensure that you're compliant, and have enough cover for the software in use by your business.
Tier 1 providers, such as Microsoft, are now shifting their focus away from large enterprise, and are starting to concentrate on small to medium sized businesses. If you've ever bought more than 5 licences for a Microsoft product on an Open or Volume licence scheme, you are likely to receive a letter. This will ask you to carry out a Software Asset Management (SAM) review, detailing all of your software, what licences you have - including retail and OEM, and then provide them the results.
Create IT will do this for your business on your behalf. Unlike the vendors, we take a more down-to-earth and realistic view when it comes to who has what software, and more importantly, who actually has a requirement to use that software. Ultimately this approach can save your business money and effort in the future.
Proactive monitoring gives us a real-time view of how your IT infrastructure is performing. This can include your networks (external and internal), servers, backups and UPS devices, depending on the level cover your business requires. Information is fed over a secure, encrypted SSL link between your network and our own. The data that is sent is incredibly small so it won't impact your Internet connection, and scheduled scans are performed overnight.
Using large format displays in our offices, along with audiable warnings and e-mail alerts, we're made aware of a critical problem the instant it happens. Without you having to call us, our engineers are able to start working on the issue immediately. Our monitoring systems also look into log files which in most cases, bar complete hardware failure - and even in those cases occasionally, can highlight the beginnings of a critical issue. We implement the resolution before the problem does become critical, helping to reduce costs and save your business, and your customers from experiencing any impact.
